About the picture on this blog

If you know California's central coast, you'll recognize the picture of Pismo Beach on the blog header. You can't see that exact picture anywhere else. I took it from the back seat of a Piper Tri-Pacer airplane.

The pilot was a student of mine, a high school senior learning to fly. Check out his story here.
